Afternoon at the park...

What a wonderful day we had today, i decided to take my little honey to McDonalds for lunch, we had a grilled cheese happy meal (Well i had the chicken fajita meal). It sure hit the spot, after our food settled we were off to the park...

We played for 2 hours....Makenna had a bawl. Of course she screamed bloddy murder as we were leaving but that was to be expected.

We are off to the city early tomorrow morning, we were planning on going tonight but my Dh and I ended up working in the yard tidying up.

Makenna fell asleep at the table during supper around 7.30pm....she was a tired little girl. I think we will be going to the park everyday...LOL

YIPEE !!! It'S FRIDAY !!!!!

God glad i don't work, i mean outside the home... then i'd be really excited...Yesterday was a relentless one, it seemed like it was never going to end.

I guess it helps to actually get dressed and leave the house too...LOL

I am off to the city this weekend to do a little shopping ...I really want to hit Old Navy, Costco, Hollister, Abercrombie,lululemon (My Fav store) and Childrens Place because my girlfriend says they have a big sale on....YEAH

My BBF lives in the city too (Tracey), so it is always fun to see her... we are going ot hit Capital Ex on Saturday too and take the wild child on some rides, there are fireworks too that night...

I can already taste East Side Marios, chicken linguini tetrazinni.......YUMMY !!!! and i promised the DH that i would bring home a donair pizza from Pizza Delight...

As you can see there are lots of plans, gotta get to Deb & Don's too for a visit and some payback....

Jordan my DH's friend from PEI is coming in at 11.30am to so i gotta grab him at the Airport too, he is coming out here to work on the Rigs with my DH's company....

I guess thats all for now....gotta get to bed...See Ya !!!

Thirteen Things about SHANNON1…. I have hada headache for like 3 days now... 2.... This is really 12.06am Friday...but it still counts... It's not thursday in BC yet.... 3.... I never even got out of my PJ's today.... 4....I rollo out of bed every morning aroung 9.30am just in time to watch Days of Our Lives...Melissa Aitken got me addicted to that show in grade 9. Thanks !!! 5.... I am off to the city to do some shopping, visiting & going ot take in Capital Ex too. 6.... I am addicted to Tomato & Basil rice cakes by Quaker....YUMMY !!! 7.... I saw the northern lights tonight and they were beauty....they amaze me... 8.... Lessthan a month till my momms comes out west for a visit....Aug 26th to be exact. 9.... My much older sister turned 40 yesterday !!! Happy Birthday Kimmy !!! 10.... Thank god the heat wave is over.....I was actually cold last night so was the DH....he stole my blankets... 11.... I had a fight with my nephew tonight over the stupidst thing....God !!! P.S. He is 21 ! 12.... My Dh's friend is coming out here to work for his company this sunday, i have to swing by the airport to pick him up....sometime after Costco !!! 13.... Gosh there sure is a lot of talk about these babys around lately....they are really not that new people....

People are running all over town trying to find some ...

Anyways...I got mine in the city at Coast Mountain Sports, since then Appara Shoes and Athletes World here in Cold Lake have gotten them in.

I got Makenna a piar even though she cant even wear them yet...someday she will be able to....LOL

I have been a bad blogger.....

Gosh where has the past week gone.....Okay so it had been like 40 degrees around here...sheesh...really warm...

Alberta is in a heat wave right now...we have had hot weather for over 2 weeks...im getting so tired of it...ok and for my American pals...hot for us Here in Alberta...is like 30...and we only get a few of those days in the summer....its been over 32 just about every day for 15 days...yesterday was 36...just converted that to 97F...bloody hot for us...It rained some last night, and we woke up to an overcast day...but by 2 pm this afternoon it was back up to 31C again....the big difference is that ususally we cool down here at night..down to like 14ish...and it hasnt been..so its crappy in the house..its not getting a chance to cool off, so its just hot all the time...

We had a busy weekend Tracey & the dogs came up for a visit.... we went to the beach swam in the pool and relaxed. Tried our best ot beat the heat....

The Weekend...

Okay so we had a pretty good weekend around here...shitty weather but good company...

Tracey & Curtis came up from the city on Friday for the weekend so that was nice, we hung out and on Saturday Tracey and I hit Wal-Mart for a little shopping...

We had a quiet yet busy week around here so a relaxing weekend was much in need...

Kenny & I bought a new pool at CT on Thursday, to attempt ot beat the heat . It was a whopping 36 degrees here on Wednesday with the humidity.... HOT !!!

BEACH BABY MAKENNA !!!

We spent the entire weekend at Sandy Beach....it was absolutly awsome...we all had a great time.

The dogs swam, Makenna & Dad dug a big hole in the sand and played endlesly in it...

Thacey & John came up from the city with her brother Curtis and Duke & Duchess ( The Dogs)...

We went to the fireworks satdurday night, then came home and had a fire and set off our own fireworks...

AWSOME WEEKEND ALL AROUND !!!

Kenny & I went out to buy a pool last night, but we had to get a raincheck at CT,hopefully they will be in by tomorrow 5. We slept like babies last night thanks to all the thunder and lightening to cool down the air. 6. I need to scrub my kitchen floor...it is NASTY !!!! 7. Makenna has discovered how to open the fridge...we have to keep it locked now... 11. Kenny is going for his BOP ticket soon .... 12.
