More Birthday Shopping ...

Was out today and picked this up for my little girly from Mama and Daddy... I hope she likes it...

Pretty quiet day around here finished delivering the rest of the birthday invites ... seems like everyones good to come.

Went to Boston Pizza for lunch, it was yummy.... had leftovers for supper...

Keeping it short tonight, off to watch Laguna Beach ... Cause i love it !!!

Already excited for Greys Anatomy & ER tomorrow night !!!

Some Birthday Shopping....


Got theses boots today with a gift card from Nanny Marshall ... they are so cute ... and the best part is Makenna can't get them off when shes wearing them .... LOL

Makenna picked this shirt off the rack herself, of course i made sure she got the right size. This was from Nanny Marshall too.

I love these boots, we got these with money that Uncle Danny, Lisa & Cohen sent Makenna... They are so cute !!!

Poor Spinach ...

I am really missing spinach... I think i am actually starting to go through withdrawl...

We went out for lunch today and i didn't even want ot go to Boston Pizza because i wouls automatically want my fav the spinach salad no egg...

I guess its one of those thing you kinda don't really think about till it's gone...

We went out today to do some birthday shopping... other than that a pretty quiet day at home...

I did up the invitations for Makennas 2nd birthday party today and went out and delivered some tonight... Since we are off ot the city for the weekend, we are having her party on Manday night. It's actually more adults than kids but oh well.... just dinner and cake... I have to order balloons tomorrow and i think order a bigger cake too.

Monday funday ....

So today started out by us sleeping in for playgroup.... that meant we were rushing around trying to get out the door, and of course the phone kept ringing....

Makenna is kinda full of the cold right now, so we thought it would be unfair to infect all the other kids so we only dropped in today...

Then we were off to Walmart to pick up a few things....and home for lunch, i had to run around and pay some bils today too. I made supper, did some laundry and that was pretty much it...It rained all day and night here...

Kenny and I took off to Walmart tonight to do some birthday shopping, but we neverreally saw much we thought she would like and if we did she already had it...LOL....Good thing i am off to the city this weekend to do some real shopping...

Nothing on TV tonight.........but Desperate Housewives was awsome lastnight....I enjoyed every minute of it...

Off to get my PJ'S on and cuddle up on the couch...

Sunny Sunday in alberta...

Well wow, what a beauty of a fall day here. 17 degrees and beautiful and sunny ! I love it !!!

Okay so got up this morning around 9.30 am, i know that is rotten but Makenna annd i were having such a great sleep, of course as soon as i stirred she rose like the queen she is these days...

We had some breakfast and then i took a notion to clean all the floors in the house... Woo Hoo !!! That was a thrill...

I talked to my dad on the phone and my sister in law (not legaly) Lisa, not to much news from PEI today.

My momma and I took Makenna out to the Dollar store, toTim Hortons for some lunch and then to Zellers for a few minutes.... note to self zellers never has anything in stock... I always try to give them the benefit of the doubt and try to get some stuff there instead of getting EVERYTHING at WAL-MART....but it never fails and i am always back at wally world.

Tonight is the Fall Supper at the Luthern church, so that means I dont have to cook...YEAH !!!

Other than that not too much new....

Gosh i am a terrible blogger too, not as bad as Deana but worse than Petra....LOL

I dont know where the time goes....My goal is to update this blog everyday no matter what...lets see if i can stick to it....LOL

7 more sleeps till Makenna turns the big 2... WOW !!!

We are going to celebrate her birthday in the city, as we are going down to help Tracey & John move to Beaumont...

My brother Patrick is coming out west ot work too, he arrives on October 1st at 12.45am... I guess i'll be at the airport...LOL

We have had a busy week as we are in a new playgroup and makenna had her pictures taken too... tomorrow night is the Fall supper at the church so that should be yummy...

Just a thought .... only 99 days till christmas !!!

Bad Bad Bloggers...

Our whole house has been down with the flu this week so no time for much anything other than gingerale & washing laundry.....LOL

Plus it is wicked cold here like -2... winter is coming too early in Alberta!!!

My heart goes out to all the victims and families affected by this tragic event in history... I will never forget that morning sitting at my desk at work when Rob my coworker came in and say log onto CNN.... I remember calling my mother and father almost instantly hoping they were watching TV... We were all sent home early...I remember it like it was yesterday, not five years ago.

Got a phone call today from Zellers, to let me know that Makenna won this Dora the Explorer Chair desk in a contest.....YEAH !!!!
We had entered a ballot a couple of months ago...It's so cute, she just loves it....

MAKENNA'S FIRST MOVIE

Well we were feeling kinda brave todayand seeing as my DH was off work today, we decided to take Makenna to her first movie...

She loved it and was so good, we went ot see Barnyard and it was really cute. She sat up in the theater on the booster seat like she was a queen, she had popcorn and M&M's and a few sips of my pop... It was so cute, she wiggled and giggled and danced to the songs...

Wow she really is growing up !!!

Grandma came too and she liked the movie too, then after we went ot the park and rewarded her for being such a good girl at the movies....Boy she did a lot of running around, i guess she was making up for all that sitting... As a mom today i am so proud !!!

 

Happy Labor Day All....

So yesterday was our 1 year anniversary (YEAH !)...

We had some friends over lastnight for a while then we all haeded out to The Camels Toe, yes that is the name of the bar....LOL... We had some drinks then around midnight we wandered over to Legends Western Bar (Our Fav Spot)...where we procedded to quench our thirst some more...The rumor is today that our small group of 7 (Kenny, Myself, Sharon, Jamie, jordan & Melanie....and Sam if she counts) drank somewheres in the ball park of $700 to $800 worth of booze.........Let me tell you there were a lot of doubles and way too many shots.......We actually bought a whole tray from the shooter girl...LOL...Gotta love partying with the riggers...Thanks Jamie !!! You are way to generous.....

We all had an awsome time, we drank, laughed and danced til 3am....I honestly could'nt have had a better night...Kuddos to the best friends...Kenny & I had a bawl...way more fun then that big party last year...LOL...no just kidding the wedding was good too....LOL

Gosh it's like 1.30am here betterget my ass to bed...nite all ...

HAPPY 1st ANNIVERSARY !!!

Well almost, not till tomorrow but i might be pretty busy seeing how it is saturday and all... So i thought i would post some memories to share with everyone....

Pretty relaxed weekend planned around here, DH is off on Sunday & Monday..... so that is nice.......lots of stuff to do around the ranch....LOL

We might take off ot Lloydminister too or somewhere for a drive maybe Meadow Lake too....who knows....
